An Addiction Severity Index (or ASI) evaluation is a clinically administered review of your past and current use of drugs and alcohol. ASIs are required to determine what kind of substance-abuse treatment — if any — is appropriate for your situation and to help guide treatment options. They are also commonly required for people who have been arrested on a drug- or alcohol-related crimes.
At Wyoming Recovery, we offer in-person ASIs at our location in Casper, Wyoming. We also offer virtual ASIs for people living outside the Casper area. Our ASIs are scheduled in a timely manner, and we are usually able to schedule them within a week. If you are required to get an ASI because of criminal charges, delays in getting the evaluation can impact your court case and any potential sentencing, so it’s often in your best interest to get evaluated as soon as possible to keep your court case moving. You can make an appointment for an ASI by calling Wyoming Recovery at (307) 265-3791.
