Concerned you may have a drinking or drug problem?

Russell Weller · Dec 30, 2022

There’s a big difference between a casual user and someone that is engaging in addictive behaviors, but when you’re in the middle, finding that distinction can be difficult.

An Addiction Severity Index (or ASI) can be completed for any question or concerns you may have about your own personal substance use. There’s no commitment to get treatment, and it can merely be used as an evaluation tool.

If you’re concerned about your substance use, Wyoming Recovery can help. We offer Addiction Severity Index evaluations to anyone in Wyoming, both in our Casper office and virtually throughout the state.

An ASI is an examination of your current and past substance use conducted by a member of our clinical staff. It is completely confidential and in no way commits you to getting any addiction treatment. When done voluntarily, it is merely a helpful tool to help evaluate if you’re a casual user, or if you might have ventured into more addictive and possibly destructive behavior.

If you’ve got questions or would like to schedule an Addiction Severity Index evaluation, please contact Wyoming Recovery at (307) 265-3791 today or fill out our Admissions Form.
